System Update Required: Gamers Vent Their Frustration After Trying to Play Their New Consoles

Remember those Christmas mornings where, with baited breath, you tore into the packages under the tree. Hoping that inside one of those shiny gifts lie that gaming console you'd been waiting all year for. The console you'd pestered your parents every time you went to the store, that you'd read about obsessively in every gaming magazine you could get your hands on.

The moment came across that chosen package, nothing else mattered, the only thing you wanted to do was plug it in and glue your eyes to the screen for the remainder of the day, in a glorious gaming binge that you can only accomplish when you're young.

Well. Those days are gone. The days where games weren't shipped with game breaking glitches and consoles didn't require a massive update in order to play.

"Contacting server. Updating system. Performing game update."

And soon enough "update failed, server overload" because it turns out every other sucker like you got a PS4 for Christmas and is trying to do the same thing.
